Dr. Liston Bochette, Secretary General of the World Olympians Association (WOA) Officially opens the 1st Edition of the DIPC

Dr. Liston BOCHETTE (Secretary General of the World OLYMPIANS Association) and Dr. Marc Daniel GUTEKUNST officially declared the Dekalb Classic games opened. The ceremonies took place in Lithonia, Georgia of Dekalb County. Special guest Vitali PETROV, the world renowned coach of Sergey BUBKA, World Record Holder, 1988 Olympic Gold Medallist, 3 time Indoor World Champion and 6 time Outdoor World Champion, was present. PETROV held a Pole Vault Clinic the day after the meet to a host of pole vaulting athletes.
