● In 2001, the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the DeKalb County Government established the Atlanta 1996 International Training Center known as the ATLANTA 1996
● From 2001 to 2010, the ATLANTA 1996 was operated by the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Foundation in partnership with the DeKalb County Government
● From 2007 to 2010, the ATLANTA 1996 served as DeKalb County's Sports Authority
● In 2009, the ATLANTA 1996 became a Member of the World Union of Olympic Cities (WUOC) - Union Mondiale des Villes Olympiques (UMVO)
● Since 2009, the ATLANTA 1996 is the Official Representative of the City of Atlanta to the WUOC
● The ATLANTA 1996 created and managed the London 2012 WUOC House™ - Maison UMVO Londres 2012™ (July 26 - August 12, 2012), the exclusive IOC endorsed venue for the 46 cities that hosted the Olympic Games since 1896, and cities to host Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games through 2018
