When all 202 Olympic Committees, all International Governing bodies are the same town for 17 days, there is no better place to meet old friends, make new friends, and solidify existing collaborations with NOCs, IFs (International Olympic Summer Sport Federation), and NGBs (National Governing Sport Body).

n addition to spending time with 8 of the DITC founding members, we met with representatives from 31 National Olympic Committees: Africa (15), Caribbean (8), Central America (2), South America (2), Asia (4).

This was also a prime opportunity to meet the President of one IF (International Olympic Summer Sport Federation) and its US NGB (National Governing Body) who are considering the DITC as the permanent training site for their Men Team. This Team would reside and train at the DITC in preparation of the 2008 OLYMPIC Games.

With the President of the AAC, we reviewed the 2005 AFRICA-USA Track & Field Championships to be held in Africa. The DITC will be hosting in 2007 the Championships in Atlanta.
