The “crème de la crème” of the Chinese National Olympic Committee, National Olympic Coaching, and the Ministry of Sports visited the DITC as part of their US visit arranged by the U.S. State Department. They wanted to see an Olympic Legacy program, and learn more about our training programs leading to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. While in the U.S. this Chinese delegation also visited USOC training facilities in Colorado Springs and the University of Maryland Sports Complex.
As a result of this visit, the DITC will invite the Chinese Women’s Team Handball Olympic National Coach to train with our US Men’s Team for a few weeks. The Chinese Federation has already extended an invitation in turn to our coaches to visit China.
