The ATLANTA 1996 was again invited to participate in President Barack OBAMA’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). YALI is a signature effort of the Obama administration to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Today, Ambassador Andrew YOUNG, ATLANTA 1996 Co-Chair spoke for an hour to the twenty five 2014 YALI Mandela Washington Fellows in residency for 6 weeks at Clark Atlanta University (CAU). Both Dr. Marc-Daniel GUTEKUNST, ATLANTA 1996 Co-Chair & CEO, and Herb EDWARDS, ATLANTA 1996 COO attended Ambassador YOUNG's talk.
